Our Ranch: The Field of Dreams
Since 2010, our ranch has been a labor of love, a vision built from the ground up that has become a true “Field of Dreams.” What started as an idea has grown into a vibrant hub for connection, healing, and celebration right here in Las Vegas. We’ve poured our hearts into creating a space where the magic of horses and the power of community come together, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built.
Over the years, we’ve transformed this land step by step—upgrading, refining, and expanding to meet the dreams we have for our ranch and the people who visit it. From our first modest gatherings to the full-scale community events we host today, every project, performance, and upgrade has been driven by our passion to create something truly special.
We’re not just building facilities; we’re building experiences. This ranch has become a sanctuary where people can find joy, healing, and connection—not just with horses, but with each other. Whether it’s a breathtaking equestrian performance, a hands-on learning experience, or a peaceful moment watching the horses graze, we strive to make every visit memorable and meaningful.

Our Horses: The Heart of BHP Events
At BHP Events, our horses are everything—they are the soul of our work and the inspiration behind everything we do. We’re absolutely obsessed with them, and for good reason! Each horse brings their unique personality, history, and gifts to our ranch, and we’re honored to share them with the world.
Our herd is as diverse as it is special. We’re proud to care for a variety of breeds, from the gentle giants of the horse world—Percherons and Belgians—to the spirited Norwegian Fjords, elegant Aztecas, charming miniature horses, and the delightful Haflingers.
These incredible animals come to us from all walks of life. Some have been rescued from kill pens or less-than-ideal situations, while others have been lovingly donated to us. A few have been purchased to help us build the perfect team. While we don’t rescue all of our horses, we always strive to go that route when it’s possible. We wish we had the space and resources to rescue every horse in need, but to ensure the safety and success of our programs, we must seek horses with specific traits and abilities that allow them to thrive in their roles.
We take great pride in giving each horse a job they love, one that suits their personality and strengths. Whether they’re helping someone find healing, connecting with the public through performances, or simply enjoying time with our team, our horses thrive in roles that bring them joy and fulfillment.

From the stoic and steady giants to the cheeky and playful minis, our horses are true partners in everything we do.

Our Crew: The Heartbeat of BHP Events
At BHP Events, our crew is more than just a team—we’re family. Some of us have been working together for over 30 years, and the bond we’ve built is rooted in trust, respect, and an unwavering passion for what we do. When you’re hanging upside down in the air off a giant horse, trust isn’t optional—it’s everything.
Together, we’ve created something extraordinary: a group of dedicated performers and educators who pour their hearts into every performance, every practice, and every moment spent sharing the magic of horses with the world. Each member of our team plays a vital role in making our events unforgettable, from the awe-inspiring equestrian acrobatics to the quiet, behind-the-scenes care that keeps our horses happy and healthy.
Our journey is filled with rich friendships and cherished traditions, including our long-standing connection with One-Eyed Fats BBQ. This friendship goes back 15 years to the early days of the ranch, when we were just a group of friends cooking out and sharing good food around the fire. Those casual gatherings grew into hosting our first-ever community shows, which then evolved into the legendary Vet smokers and other community celebrations. One-Eyed Fats BBQ remains an integral part of our story, embodying the warmth and camaraderie that define BHP Events.
We’re also incredibly fortunate to work with the talented students and parents of the Golden Gate Vaulting Team, which trains right here on-site. These students bring energy, enthusiasm, and skill to everything we do, inspiring us daily with their growth and determination. And the parents? They are nothing short of amazing—tireless supporters, cheerleaders, and an integral part of this community. Together, they form an incredible foundation of talent and dedication that elevates our team and events.
We’re so proud of what we’ve built together—a community of extraordinary humans united by a shared love for horses, performance, and connection. Every practice, every show, every moment is a testament to the strength and spirit of this team.
